Dear colleagues,

I have difficulties in inputting elements by using Caesar II interface. It is stated in the help section that the DX DY DZ, and Cos X Cos Y Cos Z are all referring to global coordinate axes. This causes problem when the element is not aligned with global coordinate axes. Can anyone please explain it to me how to get through this problem?
All i have is the pdf of isometric drawing, hence i cannot calculate the global axes-projected lengths (DX,DY,DZ) of the element.

Thank you so much for your help. Cheers!

Elang

Click the ">>" chevron at the top right of the "Delta" fields. This will expand the dialog box so that you can define the length of the element. The deltas will be assumed to be along the same vector as the preceding element. You only need to determine the deltas and cosines for the first element of the run.
