Hi,

I would like to know what is the command to put in the input file to impose that two surfaces have to remain parallel during a simulation.
What is the easiest command for that?

Thanks for your help.

May could you put boundary conditions in order to fix a rotation ?

I was rather thinking of *Equation or *Tie command.
Constraining the rotation would not allow a (rotational) rigid body motion. And that's not what i want.

Any ideas with * EQUATION or *TIE?

Thanks

You could use a rigid beam between each node on the surfaces. That would fix the distance between each node, and hence the surfaces. I don't think *equation or *tie would work as these rely on linear relationships.
