Dear all,
I am desperately seeking for information regarding to how to make a large area of 2D colloidal crystal films (i.e. spheres in closed packing). This is generally the first step of nanospheres lithography. As reported in many references, I am also using spin coating technique. But the problem is I could not get large area of spheres in closed packing (I want a large area as several cm2). The coating I obtained is that the spheres discrete distributed over the most area. I have tried to adjust the spin speed, duration, and spheres concentration. But I still could get good coating. BTW, i am using the spheres with the size of 300 nm.
Does anyone have the related experience and can share with me? I am looking forward any suggestions.
Any information will be welcome. Thanks a lot.
