I created a model with a planer body fixed on ground and another body with a definite height above the the planar body and applied a contact between the two bodies with the impact option. The suspended body is allowed to fall on the planar one.

I want to measure the force between the bodies at the time of Impact. Anybody knows how to do this.

Thanks in advance

Best regards

Using what? Adams/View? Right click on the contact constraint and click Measure, at a rough guess. Sorry I don't have ADAMS at home to confirm this.

Yes I use Adams/View, but I already tried that in vain. When I right click the contact-constraint and try to measure I get an error.

Thanks anyway

OK, that's interesting, I agree that didn't work

If you go into the post processor you can plot the contact force.
