Hi,

I suppose that you want to modify a sketch which belongs to a solid and use it for create another. If you want to use (and modify) the same sketch, first you have to do operate>isolate and after that you can use it in which way you want Regards

If the sketch is not modifiable through sketcher, it may indicate that there are PARAM3D constraints applied to the parent profile. You will need to remove or delete the PARAM3D constraints to allow a sketcher modification.

Hope this helps.

Related Question.

I'm new to Catia V4 and use param3d to add dimensions to my sketches using lines not the Nice V4 sketcher.

I seem to have trouble adding param3d dimensions after creating the profile. When modifying profile and addind Parameters they are not driving the Profile and cannot be modified. Is there any steps missing or needed to add modifyable dimensions to the already created profile later?
