As you may know ABAQUS uses internal label numbers in order to identify sets of surfaces or elements. For example, if you write in the .inp file:

*Preprint, contact=YES

You get in the .dat file a table named "CONTACT PAIR(S)" with the SLAVE and MASTER surfaces identified with a label, for example -123- and -234-.

Also, using subroutine URDFIL, you can request to write the internal label number of the slave surface, with the usage of KEY 1503.

I'd like to do something similar to obtain the label number for the MASTER surface. According to what I've read there might be a way to do it using KEY 1911 but not quite sure how.

Any ideas?

Thanks!
