How to open autocad files in Etap for load flow and short circuit 1

Im using Etap 12.6 and kindly let me knowhow to open external autocad SLD in Etap

I also have the same problem. I am using Autocad Electrical 2015 and the tutorial given was for 2006. How do i view SLD from Autocad in Etap? Awaiting your response folks

On File menu use Data Exchange, however you can not direct import the ACAD file. You need to change the ACAD file to XML file and then you can import that SLD in the XML format. There is a help tool on this, press F1 for more details.

ETAP and AutoCAD are for different applications. Hence they are not interchangeably used.
