I have a small design firm in L.A. and we are looking for the most economical & efficient way to melt, pour & cast recycled plastics (regrind) into flexible silicon molds. Injection molding will not work for our application. The final product will fit in the palm of your hand, with numerous undercuts. Off-the-shelf casting resins work, but we are looking to use recycled materials for our final product. Thank you.

Sad but true, PET in as a melt we be in the region of 300 degree C, therefore plastic ot rubber moulds would probably be distroyed first use.

I understand that Injection is not suitable because of undercuts, try using split cavitiy moulds.

If witness lines are a problem you can consider polishing as a second operation.
