Hi,

I have applied a uniform to frame load in an area section none. Is there a way to prevent certain frames from receiving that load? In that area panel I have diagonal braces that I want to exclude from receiving the load..

Is this possible?

Thanks

Not possible, create a very short rigid member and move the diagonal braces out of plane from the rest of the structure to attach to the rigid member so that they are not in plane with your area section.

That is different, they are using the actual meshed finite element plates in bending to transfer loads to the structure mathematically, so of course if you do not mesh at the members it won't apply the load to them. You are using the "none" element with "uniform load to frame" which is an internal load generator that does not follow those same rules.
