Hi All

I am designing the plan of a workshop (machinery site) its mostly 2D sketches , but I extrude them a bit to have a 3D view, but I liked to be able to put the machine names on them , is it possible ? I mean they be visible all the time , not dimensions , I could not try with text box, is there a way ?

Add a cut or extrude feature to deboss or emboss the description with text

THANK YOU , I created a decal , but it is not visible when I close the Decall window

You can create an emboss or deboss using text elements in your sketch as farzadtb suggested. You can also make the emboss or deboss surface a different color from he body to make it stand out. Check Sketch Text help.

if you use the Decal route you need to toggle the View option ON. [View]->[Hide/Show]->[Decals]
