I have got some watercut aluplates (2mm 6018 alloy).

The supplier says that after the lasercutting they came out this way. See pics

Is it possible to heat treat to release the stress?

What heat treat condition is this alloy in? T4? T6? BTW, I am not familiar with this alloy.

This is a European grade, also known as AlMg1SiPbMn in EN 755-1. This standard covers extruded rods, tubes, etc., not sheet or plate. It is supplied in the -T6, -T6510, or -T6511 conditions. This means that the stress relief options are fairly limited, because heating above the aging temperature (~ 150 C) will result in significant softening. Normal stress relief annealing temperatures for Al is in the range of 345-400 C.

Yes, TVP,I was thinking that if he had T4 he could weight a stack of parts and give them a T6 treatment
