How to Run Both 2001Plus & 2003 on the Same System

I have one customer that requires 2001Plus and one that requires 2003. It seems like, on the other systems I have upgraded to 2003, the 2001Plus was overwritten. Is it possible to run both? If so, is there something special I have to do when loading it?

When you install SW2003 be sure to make it a new install in a directory with a different name than the 2001+ install. Frinstance, "SW2003"

If you use common parts, templates, and formats you will need copies of these for each version, too.

Personally, I would be unsure of a customer who was not willing to pay the price for support and the upgrade to 2003.

Thanks, I will try the 'New Install' option when I install 2003.
As for the customer on 2001Plus...They have a really bad company that handles their SmarTeam software. The last they told me was that they were told that they couldn't upgrade to SWX2003 because their version of ST doesn't support SWX2003 and the new version of ST will not be out until somtime in April. I know that the new version of ST is available right now so I am not sure what they are talking about.

We are running both versions with no issues. Like mentioned, be sure to load 2003 into it's own folder.
It sounds like your customer needs to start shopping for a new VAR.

Have your customer download the latest from smarteam v5r10sp3 that was released 2.14.03 it will support sw2003
