Hello, I want to know proper way to save file from one (DCX)environment to other environment (Mercedece Env.)
I will explain what I did - I open up the DCX env. files into Mercedece env. and re-saved the file into new env.
I sent the native file to our customer but he couldn't open the file and they are getting following error message

"Model including a PRJMODEL can not be read
The declaration CATSITE.PRJMODEL must be set to true"

Please let me know how to to set CATSITE.PRJMODEL to true.
Is this problem at my customer end OR I am doing something wrong.

Please some one help. Thanks

Yuvraj

if you are talking about V4 then you should export the Model using the CATUTIL function and send your customer the .exp file. He should then reverse the procedure using CATIMP in the CATUTIL function. Normally if you have a data transfer system like ENGDAT this should happen as part of the transfer process. Even if your customer has the DCX environment as well it is still safer to carry out a CATEXP when sending data unless you can guarantee tha tyou both have the same release level, patch level etc
