Hi,

How to choose the required capacity of water filling pump & Size of pipes. The tank details are: Dia-102 Mtr, Height-19.3Mtr, Thickness of Bottom Plate- 8 MM, Annular Plate-20MM. Water storage point is 500 Mtr distance from the Tank.

Errr, you need to know how much water flow or volume you want in a specified time.

That's one big tank you have there, but you could want to fill it in an hour ( unlikely), a day, a week, a month - totally up to you.

the materials of the shell and roof in this instance are irrelevant

With API oil tanks, they are normally hydrotested with water, and the source of water, and the speed at which it may be furnished, is always a concern.
But with water tanks, usually, the hydrotest is conducted at the same time they are put into service.
Also, petroleum tanks with an internal lining are usually hydrotested prior to lining. Water tanks are more commonly hydrotested after lining, which can collapse the schedule a bit- assuming this is the same tank as in your previous post.
