How to send a figure to clipboard with a certain format?

Hi anyone,

I need to send a figure to clipboard. According to Matlab help, it’s be done by:

>>print –dbitmap;

However, I would like to send the figure to clipboard in different formats as jpeg, metafile or tiff. The format will be keep into a variable such as:

>>form=’bitmap’;
>>print strcat('-d',form);

But it not work. And I do not know the reason. Can you help me?

Hi,
You can also send it to clipboard using the -dmeta switch. For other formats you need to save the figure and then load it in other application.
