Dear members, I would like to know what is the appropriate way to send floating point numbers using the ModbusRTU protocol ??
Could you reference links of a simple program/application that works with the ModbusRTU protocol and sending configurations that are a floating point to be saved on a RTU device.

Currently I'm using this application: However for sending floating point number to a device, is very hard because the commands sent by the application are typed by hand using the hexadecimal codes.
If you could suggest a similar application but able to send floating point number to save on a device register, that would be great. Also I thank you for any relevant links and / or tutorials.

Thank you very much for you time and for any hints.
Kind Regards

Use the read or write holding register(s) (4000x) command. Each register is 16 bits. Place your floating point number in two consecutive registers, and then read/write those two registers.
