Good day,

we have at our disposal data on the stiffness of a three-dimensional spring in a tabular form "force-displacement" (in three directions). We need to set the spring rate through this data.
An example of the data is hovered below.

Force, N Displacement, mm
-3500 -35
-2000 -15
0 0
2000 20
3500 40

How can you set the non-linear spring rate (eg Bushing) through force-displacement?

Thanks in advance!

Hello Greg.

I want to create NL Bushing in View module.

I don't use View, so this is a bit of a guess

Create a spline for your data

create a bushing
in the K field right click and select parametize
then build an expression using the spline you've already created.

There's a section in help called Example of Using Splines which goes through the process for a spring.

Messy.

Cheers
