How to solve this issue in accordance with the ASME B31.3 standard - Pipe seams continuously weld

Issue - During the pre-commissioning phase, the commissioning team discovered an issue with a 12-inch two-pipe weld, specifically that both pipe seams were continuously welded and the line has successfully hydrostatic testing has passed, and non-destructive testing (NDT) has successfully done.

So what is the issue if its passed hydro and NDT??

DekDee, I suspect that is the issue.

AFAIK, this isn't a requirement in B31.3 just usually in a construction spec.

You mean welds are not offset on ow different joints? There is still a girth weld in between them, they are not continuous... Not a big issue.
