Using AutoCad Mechanical 2017 SP2
I have many Palettes that contain dozens of dynamic blocks in each palette. Recently I was tasked to make a geometry change to all of the master blocks in each master drawing.
So I copied all the drawings and edited all the blocks in each drawing. This was time consuming because they are all dynamic with several state changes.
Here is where I need help! How do I now update all my palettes with the new blocks? The drawing names and block names have not changed, only the geometry within the blocks has changed.
Is there an automatic "Update Palette" process. Can I copy and overwrite my old block drawings with the new ones and somehow the palettes will automatically update? Are the palettes associated to the master block drawings?
Thanks for your help
