Hello,

For my Study I need to investiagte the Delamination in Drilling Process. I modeled the Process like in this Paper:
"Three-dimensional finite element modeling of drilling CFRP composites using Abaqus/CAE: a review"

In this paper there is this Picture of Delamination.

What Parameter do I have to look for to see Delamination? Or do i have to request a special Parameter in Filed output? I want to calculate the Delamination Factor for comparison. I have 4 different Damage I can chose from output, namely: DAMAGFC, DAMAGEFT, DAMAGEMT, DAMAGEMC. But which one is to chose for Delamination?
Thank you for your answers

Do you use the VCCT criterion ? First of all, you should increase the deformation scale factor to see whether the delamination looks correct or not. Then check proper output variables, depending on the used criterion.

Hello,
Thank you for youe answer.
I am using Cohesive Surfaces to model Delamination in my Model. Is it correct to chose CSQUADSCRT as output?

It depends which damage initiation criterion is used for surface-based cohesive behavior. If you use the quadratic stress-based criterion then indeed you should check the CSQUADSCRT variable.

Tanks for your answer.
Now I want to get the Trhust force and Moments. What do I have to select in the Fiel output? I chose reaction force, is that right?
