How to weld "Weld neck flange" to Tubes?

Tubes are designated by its outside diameter. So if we need weld 1" OD tube having 0.15 inch thickness with WN flange, then what should be the size of the flange selected? Can we use flanges as per ASME B16.5?
Or is there any other standard followed for flanged connections of the Tubings?

You could use a (Swagelok) flange adapter, or properly taper the ID and OD and use NPS 3/4” pipe, which best matches 1” tube.

Weld neck flanges are not the correct choice for tubing mechanical connections, as you have found out.

Ask the author of the specification to explain the need for and show you examples of WNF on tubing

Use Swagelok couplings, like everyone in the west does ....

Tell your boss and the client that Swageloks will be much cheaper ....
