Hi all,

Could anyone explain how a vacuum regulator / pressure regulator work?

My understanding is a regulator is used to create 2 chambers of different pressure readings. If a diaghram is used, how can air goes from one chamfer to another?

Thanks,
Lee

This may help go to click on products, regulators, 1000 HP technical bullitin. Look closely at the drawings and you will see that it is springs that make the regulators work. Sometimes the downstream gas pressure and the spring are used but basically it is springs against the diaphrams that make the pressure regulator concept work.
