I am interested in knowing if Kentgolding's force main/underperforming pump station issue was resolved. I have continued to experience similiar problems at a lower capacity facillity with similar force main characteristics. I found it interesting that kentgoldings facility has a 'bioxide' tank. We have correlated our poor performance directly to the application of this product. Increase dosage, force main appears to gas/air bind within a few days to the point of shutoff. Turn off feed, pump performance returns within several days. Changing existing air/vacuum valves to automatic air release valves brought no benefit (although we now have an excellent understanding of the different ARV types). Similar experiences and findings could be of value as we struggle with this problem.
