Hi there

I am a feedwater system Junior engineer. I had a problem whereby I lost a mechanical seal possibly due to water hammer and some other unknown failures. The mech seal blew of and is still under investigations. Some to help on possible failures with regard to that.

Pressure from feedwater tank to pump is 1.208
Pressure after the main pump is 20Mpa
Temperature 179.3. Power station of 3600MW
