HSS vs W-shape prices

Pound for pound, I know that tube steel (hss) is generally more expensive than w-flange shapes. I just don't know how much. Does anyone have any information on this? Thanks in advance.

Probably varies region-to-region. Best to call a local steel fabricator.

try calling AISC; they should be able to help you out or at least provide you with a list of steel service centers or mills to contact.
