Loud sounds, leaking water and low flow rate are all common Pool Pump Issues.

You haven't mentioned the Voltage the motor runs at, however it appears to be a 6600 Volt rated Motor for which the No Load Amps of 40 appears to be about right. The temperature could be caused by shorted laminations in the Stator core as there is no load to cause any temperature rise in the Windings. The humming sound could be due to many reasons from a loose core (Stator or rotor) to unbalanced Air Gap, a wrong Winding connection, unbalanced Voltage, broken rotor bars/rings to name a few, it could also be a combination of these.

Do I understand that this motor was rewound? Possibly one or more coil groups have been reversed.

What does 60C represent? winding temperature by RTD? Bearing temperature?

Have you double checked the temperature measurement (consideration of RTD type, possible loose connections....).

What is the ambient temperature?

Have you verified the voltage supplied to the motor is balanced and correct?

How many leads are brought out to the terminal box? (If it is 6 and you reverse one pair of line and neutral leads, you can expect some problems.)

Was the motor run by the rewinder? Do they have test results?

How long was the run, and was a steady trend value seen? Although I normally see continuous increasing trend in temperature, it seems possible winding temperature might peak shortly after uncoupled start (due to starting current) and then decrease.
