Question:- Can the DC to AC conversion process allow for NGC's system Mvar requirements? Can a Mvar figure be dialed in and the electronic conversion process takes care of the rest?

Can you explain what NGC is?

Keep in mind that HVDC transmission systems consume VARs both at the rectifier and the inverter end. The VARs consumed are a function of the power transfer on the HVDC line.
