HV generator breakers

I am curious to know what standards others use to qualify HV vacuum breakers for generators? I am aware of ANSI C37.013. Is this a common standard to use when specifiying? What other standards seem to be used most? I am sure this increases the cost greatly but what other guidelines/standards should be used to have some assurance of equipment installed?

I would rely more on the latest information available from the leading manufactures such as ABB,GE and Cutler Hammer (formerly Westinghouse) and compare their data, ask them qeustions. Because regardless of what standards I quote, when comes to HV breakers my field of choice narrows down to a select few leaders in the industry as it is almost impossible to verify compliance with all standards, except for relying on the data and certifications published by the manufacturer.

 
Is there any other standards that address HV generator breakers besides ANSI C37.013 that you are aware of?

ABB in their technical Specifcation of MV breakers and MV metalcald switchgear lists about (12) ANSI/IEEE C37.XX standards, plus EEMAC G8-3.2, G11-1, PIP ELESSG02
and newly introduced testing for arc resitant features according to EEMAC G14-1, Type B.

Not to mention NEMA SG-4, CC1, SG-5 etc.

Some appply to breaker itself and some to the switchgear construction.

As I mentioned earlier, the leading manufactures are my sources of this type of information ( I am not in manufacturing business). Besides what is in those literatures, I do not know what exactly those standards requires or how to test the gear to acertain compliance.
 
The ANSI standards seem to differentiate between generator breakers and other breakers with C37.013(generators) and C37.04, .06,.09 being for other breakers. These ANSI standards refer to 37.013 for generators. Does the IEC document refer to another standard for generators? Does it address generators seperately? They did not mention this in the brief info they give you where you can purchase this.
The EEMAC standard might say something, I need to read through it (free online but have several references to NEMA and other standards). SG-4 and CC1 might help too but could not find SG-5 on NEMA's sight.
I need to call some manufacturers and see what they have to say. Thanks for the posts.
