I am looking into the feasibility of removing a visible water vapour plume from a stack. I don't know if this has been done before, but it appears to me to be not dissimilar to the concept of plume removal from cooling towers, as described at .
Does anyone know the basic design criteria for doing this, i.e. how hot does the outlet stream have to be in order for there to be no visible plume from the top? What are the factors this depends on?
