HydraList- How to minimize time wasted on the pesky Miscellaneous Tab

In reference to the thread above- I also am looking for people to discuss AutoCAD's HydraLIST with.
Specifically, I'm searching for a "favorites" for the Miscellaneous Tab.
Or to figure out some options for Adding lists without searching for Parts Manually.
I have found another blog that said to
- Save the list that you use often and type in a name like typical loose material
- then open that list and refresh it next time

I don't know how well this will work if I have to generate the rest of my list off my print.
Any ideas welcome.
