Hi All,

I did a HYSYS simulation for hydraulic analysis of sour water system. The system includes change in elevations. On points where there is decrease in elevation i.e. the pipe is coming down HYSYS shows an increase in stream pressure.
My question is, Is it logical from fluid flow point of view?

Yes it is. As long as the pipe is completely full of liquid, it will gain pressure due to static head. All is in accordance with Bernoulli's Law.
