Hey Guys,

My company are in need of a hydraulic and electrical schematic software.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a fairly cheap software with preferrably a small learning curve for someone with CAD Experience?

I'm sure you've been exposed to the old joke (or various versions thereof). Cost, Quality, Time: pick any two. In your case, Cost, Ease-of-Use, Functionality: pick any two.

The reliable first choice has always been AutoCAD to draw symbols (from a library) and connecting line for circuits.
I have previously investigated two simulator packages: Famic Technology's Automation Studio and Festo's FluidSim. These allow one to build up circuits systems, simulate them for functionality, and save the images of the systems. Not inexpensive.

I would like to know if there are any other packages out there.
