hydraulic calculation

Hello,

I am Studying hydraulic calculation for sprinkler system.

The question is, if the no. of sprinkler in the system is more than 50 or 100 do I to calculate all up to the fire pump? where can I find it in the NFPA THANKS

You calculate an area based on the hazard classification. You do realize that not all sprinklers activate at the same time, unless you have a deluge system, right?

You need to read NFPA 13, everything is there.

You should take a course on sprinkler protection. In the US, there are several universities that will have such program.

You calc the hydraulically most demanding area and base system sizing on that. You may have to calculate several areas to prove you have the hydraulically most demanding areas.
