Hello,

There is a drawing of a substation in front of me for a liquid to gas plant. The plant is by the seaside and there are two equipment in the substation that I am clueless to what they are & I don't have any specs about them,I hoope you can help me out and guide me to some catlogs or data sheet abt them, they are the following:

1-Cathodic Protection sealine

2-Hydraulic Panel

I also hope you can tell me to what they are connected to in a substation.

Thanks!

Hydraulics are probably associated with a large HV circuit breaker. Failing that, look for a crane or something similar.

The cathodic protection panel will be associated with some buried structure, probably a pipeline or jetty considering the marine location. Any sign of something resembling either of them?

Hello ScottyUK and Slavag,

ScottyUK and Slavag reagarding the cathodic protection it is as you both said for the prevention of corrosion on the pipeline I guess the square drawing in the substation is a Cathodic Rectifier, and Slavag I will also ask regarding corrosion in the appropriate section.
As for the hydraulic panel it is basically for the pumps and the control of the valves

Thank you guys a lot for your time and reply, have a nice day!
