Hydraulic Schematic Symbols 1

I am working on a hydraulic system for a boom slew actuator and am unsure what the attached symbols represent. The first symbol was in a hydraulic line between the actuator cylinders and the directional valve. The other is a solenoid operated directional valve that has extra geometry which I do not recognize. Any help is appreciated!

I am not sure what the top one is, it's out of context. It appears to represent a heat exchanger or a diverter???

The bottom one is a manual override for the DCV.

Thank you for the response. I suspected the directional valve geometry might represent a manual override.. glad that has been confirmed. Attached is a larger schematic showing the 1st symbol in context hopefully. The only other boom slew schematic I have seen with blocks between the cylinders and the directional valve also employed a flow control followed by a shut off valve, plugged tee for testing, and plugged bleed valve.

They are not standard symbols, not ones that I recognise anyway.

They don't look like they do anything anyway...could they have been left on the drawing in error?

If you delete them the drawing will make more sense!!!

It is possible they were left on the drawing in error... I did find another schematic that shows what looks like a directional valve controlled crossover between the suction and discharge lines of the hydraulic power unit (See attached). Perhaps this is what is going on? Are these connections typical in hydraulic power units in your experience? Or maybe I should just delete it and move on. Thanks again for your help.

The 2 position valve in the middle makes more sense.

I would just delete the other symbols, they don't mean anything and just look wrong.
