Can you provide a schematic of the hydraulic system?

Google search only took me to the implematic system operation.

Any checkvalve switched or turned the wrong way? Operation valve with integrated checkvalve misplaced?

scott, kindly elaborate valve config or just simply define schematics.

My search of David Brown hydraulics turned up several comments that the valving is generally intolerant of dirt. It would be worthwhile to clean all the valves.

There may be a valve stuck open, either because of dirt or the reverse connection of hoses and it is bypassing flow instead of causing flow to go to the cylinders.
