Does anyone have a tip on modelling overflow pipes from a dry well? I just want to send a 12" perforated pipe out of the dry well, but if I use just the pipe it will be modelled as unrestricted flow rather than infiltration.

If you embed the dry-well in stone, the water level is assumed to be the same throughout the stone and dry-well, so you don't need to include the connecting pipe in the model.

Perhaps I don't understand the role of the pipe. Normally you would have an "overflow" only to convey excess water to another point (node) beyond the infiltration structure.

agreed, I don't see any reason to try and model a subdrain or dry well in hydrocad. If you want to do it, estimate the amount of exfiltration (perhaps less than 1 cfs) but design your retention basin for the full amount of runoff.
