I'm trying to measure the internal temperature of hydrogen pipework using a thermocouple up to 800 Deg C. I'm aware of the difficulties involved with this gas medium but I wondered if anyone had any advice as to the gland / fitting (if they exist) that could hold the thermocouple in place. Would welding / Brazing the T/C in position prove a better solution?
