Does an atmospheric tank (volume 3 mcube) requires hydrostatic testing. All its weld have been fully radiographed. Design pressure 4 psig, temp below 200F. The design pressure (4 psig)is taken as twice the maximum operating pressure (2 psig) which the bottom dish faces due to the weight of contents. Kindly comment.
