Hydrotest pressure for API 6A valves, Flanges

Dears,

How to determine the required hydro test pressure for API 6A valves, flanges. Also thetest pressure for ASME flanges & valves for which the materials are not listed in relavent ASME standards (B16.5 & B16.34). for eg: 2" 1500# WNRTJ ASTM A694 F60. in this case 694 is not listed in B16.34. so how we will get the design pressure for that flanges

Table 31 of API 6A gives some test pressures and others can be calculated by reference to maximum stress in the material. Note that you don't hydrotest flanges on their own, only when part of a system.

For A694 FXX material, you really need to look at the ANSI/MSS Sp-44 specification and associated specifications for the valves which include that material.

or valves try API 6D which references MSS-SP44

Or you can assume it is in the group 1.1 materials, but this is a conservative view.
