Would the use of 2 1/2" poly spheres for volume reduction be allowed during hydrotesting of a P.V?
The purity requirements for the test water are extremely high due to a highly polished interior. The volume is 2250 gals with a test pressure of 40 psig. Other test media has been ruled out. The hollow spheres are polyethylene or polypropylene, to be determined. There are 18 vessels in the first lot.
