Hysys and Hydrates

Folks,

I am doing a rough prediction model for hydrates in hysys. I currently have a sim where i am getting hydrates across a choke. I tried injectiong methanol upstream the choke as a separate stream using a mixer, but this does not make a difference.

Can you help ?

Check the envelope - and see where the hydrate formation temp is with and without MeOH. Rember that a lot of the MeOH will end up in the vapour phase where it wont depress hydrate formation temp.
