My job is OK, I neither enjoy getting up in the morning or hate it, my colleagues are mostly pleasant and the work is sometimes quite interesting, and at other times boring. In general, I just feel lucky to have a job that is relatively secure in these difficult economic times. Thank you DVD for giving me the opportunity to say this :)

Lisa, wrong smiley for this thread.
I hate my job: [banghead]
I love my job: [licklips] or [spin] [love] etc.
I am ambivalent about my job (can you have that as elective surgery on the NHS by the way? oh, wait Ambivalent.): [yawn] or [neutral] [sleeping]

It's OK to be unsure about a job. Just be sure to always do a good job.

Oh sure, all you people with jobs have a voice. Even those lucky enough to have a job and be in a position to consider two offers have a voice. But what about those of us who are unemployed or working only marginally? What about us, huh?

Hang in there, cass!

I can't say too much about my current situation, as too much honesty may make my stint here a little shorter than it would be otherwise.
I'll just say that I don't like being a cartoonist and am counting the days until this contract ends...

Technically, the glass is always full.

Oy, you think you've got it bad, Cass. What about those what dreams of being unemployed? Why, in my day, we had to walk uphill both ways, and pay the man to work in t'mill.

I'm with my present employer because I've been sold and bought 4 times. After a while, it does make you ambivalent, to say the least.

When I graduated college I thought that I'd never want to retire. Now I can't for the end.

I've, or our division has, been bought and sold 3 times, but I love my job. Can't believe they pay me to do this ;-) I've technically been in my industry 36 yrs, so I'm getting close to retirement, but still don't want to. I'm still doing new things and learning new things.
