I-deas v12NX - Error : Insufficient space in caller buffer

Hi everybody,

I have a big problem with Model Solutions in I-deas v12 NX. When I lance my FEA, I have a Windows message error and I have to sut down my I-deas application. And in the error file, i found this one :
"
*** I-DEAS VMI Diagnostic (silidgt)
*** Insufficient space in caller buffer (16).

This run of I-DEAS has ABNORMALLY ended. (Segmentation Violation)"

I think it's a problem related with OpenGL but I don't know how to resolve. I have a Hercules 3D Prophet 9600Pro series card with 256Mb (ATI).

If user name used to login to a domain is longer than 16 characters, then error mentioned will occur in the outputXXXX.out file.

On your company domain, what form of login are used? There are some companies using form of "Firstname.Lastname", which is a condition that may easily exceed 16 characters.

The workarounds are to shorten the user names or delete the files.
