I have a query regarding drilling

Hey everybody,

So I have FYP on Stress Measurement using drilling. I am going to use a high rpm dental drill. I want to know, which physical property such as hardness, toughness, Shear strength does drilling depends upon. The reason i want to know this is because i need to check whether a dental drill could go through a bar of aluminium, steel or copper. I am going to compare the metal properties with that of enamel.
