I have retired. I have over 25 years of Mathcad files that reside on a WinXP virtual machine.
I need to make this available to someone at the company.
I could just leave them the virtual machine.
Another option is to upgrade the old Mathcad 13 files to the latest Mathcad Prime.
The problem I have had is that the symbolic solver in Mathcad 14 could not solve problems I could with Mathcad 13.
I would like to know if this has been fixed and whether I can convert my files to the new format easily.
IRStuff has an idea of what I do.
What I would like to know is if anybody would be willing to try running one of my more complicated symbolic problems on the latest version of Mathcad Prime just to see if Mathcad Prime is ready.
I actually bought Mathematica. Mathimatica could only solve about 1/3 of the problems I couldn't solve with Mathcad 13.
It would take too much effort to convert Mathcad 13 files to Mathematica files by hand.
