Hello,
I have a doubt with the asme VIII div1 code.
If I apply UG-53 (multiple openings) in a cylindrical shell (a 12" tube) I obtain E=0.29 to use in UG-27 and then I have the minimum required thickness (of the 12" tube).
During the construction of this item, we've see that we need to open the 12" tube to weld the tubes, because there's not enough place. Therefore, do we really need Rx in this new opening without changing the mecanical calcs of the 12" tube?
