I need a formulation for the production of a wood glue with more or less the same Technical Information:<br><br>PONAL WOOD GLUES<br><br>PONAL<br><br>Ponal is ready to use white glue. Nonstringy, it dries transparent. Ponal is suitable for use in making and repairing wooden furniture, in wood modelling ( art and craft), for glueing laminates, veneers or hardboard.<br><br>A thin coating of Ponal should be applied to one surface only, using a paint brush, plastic comb or glue applicator. Depending on the absorbency of the substrate material, the quality applied should be around 150 g/m2. Join the two parts whilst the glue is still wet. At +20C, the open time before jopining should be no more than 15 minutes. The working temperature should be less than +5C.<br><br>Minimum pressing time varies according to the ambient temperature, i.e. <br>Approx. 15 to 20 minutes at +20C<br>Approx. 10 to 15 minutes at +30C.<br><br>When glueing laminates, pressure should be maintained for <br>Approx. 40 minutes at +20C<br>Approx. 16 minutes at +60C<br>Pressure may applied with the aid of screw clamp or similar device.<br><br>Pressure required:<br>Approx. 20-50 N/cm2 (2-5 kg/cm2).<br><br>The final strength of a Ponal glue bond is generally higher than the inherent strength of the wood. The bond will withstand a thermal stress of approximately +70C.<br><br>PONAL EXPRESS <br><br>Ponal express – the strong , fast glue and is the ideal wood glue for jobs requiring further handling or stess on the joint soon after bonding. High strength is achieved between the bonded material in as little as 12 minutes. At increased temperature, this time becomes even shorter.<br><br>Ponal express is used in exactly the same way as Ponal. Its properties are also similar. One difference, however; is the open time before bonding. At 20C, this should be no more than 10. The minimum pressing time is shorter than with Ponal, i.e.<br>Approx. 12 minutes at 20C<br>Approx. 8 minutes at 30C<br>When glueing laminates, pressure should be maintained for<br>Approx. 15 minutes at 20C<br>Approx. 8 minutes at 60C<br><br>PONAL SUPER 3<br><br>Ponal super 3 the water resistant glue. Ponal super 3 is the wood glue where bonds are subjected to the effects of moisture in the bath room or kitchen, for example, or in joinery bonds in windows and doors. Ponal super 3 meets the requirements of DIN 68602, stress category B3.<br><br>The open time before bonding should not exceed 12 minutes at 20C. A thin coating of Ponal Super 3 should be applied to both surfaces.<br><br>Other directions for use are as for Ponal.<br><br>Special remarks ( apply to all Ponal types)<br><br>Tools should be cleaned with cold water immediately after use. Any dried out residues of glue should be removed be softening and soaking with water. Once allowed to set, residues of Ponal Super 3 can only be removed by mechanical means. Containers should be stored properly sealed in frost-free location.
