hi
I've made a program based in Mathcad that calculate ground resistance and potentials (GPR, touch, step in a point, profile or surface) of horizontal, vertical and angled (whit respect to the surface) electrodes.

this program can be used in soils whit one or two layers of resistivity and the electrodes can be dividided in several segments which allow non uniform current distribution.

I need validate this program, if anyone can give some data of resistance and potencials to check my results i'm very grateful.

thanks

Comment: I do not think that the data provided will be sufficient since the commercial software tend to follow certain industry standards, e.g. IEEE Std 80-2000. Software may also be customized, i.e. deviate from the industry standard; especially, it can deviate in conservative direction to produce conservative results.

IEEE 80 has 152 entries in its bibliography. Why reinvent the wheel?

I suggest using the cases analyzed in "Parametric Analysis of Grounding Grids", Dawalibi, F., and Mukhedkar, D., IEEE Transactions on Power Apparatus and Systems, Vol. PAS-98, No. 5 Sept/Oct 1979. This is summarized in Annex F of IEEE Std 80-2000. I believe that the original paper includes enough data to allow comparative calculations.
