I posted a question earlier asking about obtaining a copy of SAE-AMS-STD-2219, and was directed to a web site where I could purchase a 27 page document for $101. I don't mind paying my fair share, but I have to weld a 1" diameter x .09 thick stainless steel disk to the head of a 1/4-20 hex head bolt per this spec. I can not imagine what would take 27 pages to explain for this process and since I only have to do a few, $101 for the book is out of the question. Is it possible for anyone who is familiar with this spec to enlighten me as to the content of the specification? ShopRat
